Chanco students attend Ark for Peace Conference

The  students, Wongile Mbano (3rd  Year) and Walinase Kayamba (2nd Year) were part of a five-person delegation from the country. The participants attended a variety of discussions, and also made their own presentations, applying the various ideas they had learnt, to their own contexts.

The conference culminated in a cultural night, where the participants prepared dishes representative of their home countries. The Malawian participants did not disappoint, as they prepared nsima with pumpkin leaves, as  well as futali.

The conference gave the students an opportunity to relate to the customs and experiences of other countries around the world.
