Ekari Immaculate Phiri is a Lecturer at The University of Malawi specializing in Malawian Oral Literature, the African Short story and African Poetry within the Department of Literary Studies. She has a Master’s Degree in Literary Studies from the University of Malawi, building on her Bachelor’s degree in Education Language, where she majored in English and minored in Linguistics, graduating with Credit. Ekari is a highly innovative individual with strong civic education skills and an ability to interact effectively with diverse groups. Her academic and professional experience has equipped her with expertise in research, critical thinking, data analysis, presentation, and leadership.
