I hold a Master of Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Macquarie University, Australia; Master of Public Health from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (formerly, College of Medicine), and Bachelor of Education (Home Economics Education) from the UNIMA. I have extensive knowledge and skills in implementing foundational learning interventions in literacy, numeracy and socioemotional domains. My career goal is to utilize my multi-disciplinary expertise, influence and leadership skills to build the capacity of early childhood educators to give young children the best start in life to escape poverty, achieve social inclusion and reach their potential in Malawi. I also aim to build a community of ECE reformers that will change the global narrative of ECCE in the region.
