Oris Kondwani Chimphambano is a researcher and educator in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Malawi. His research interests include interrogating power, ideology, and the subjective experiences of individuals within modernity, especially in African contexts. He is also interested in how individuals interact with digital technologies and how these technologies affect intersubjectivity and shape public discourse. In particular, his work focuses on the existential and social implications of (dis)embodiment in digital communication (e.g., social media).
