Profile

Margaret Kanyemba's teaching and research integrate the analytic rigor of Logic and Metaphysics with critical insights from Philosophy of Gender. She examines how embodied differences across race, gender, and culture shape reasoning and human existence, while also exploring the role of affective phenomena such as violence, vulnerability, shame, trauma, and resilience in constituting lived experience. Rooted in African experiences, her research advances decolonial approaches to African Philosophy of Gender.
