Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent qualifications.

3 years’ relevant work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Developing and monitoring the implementation of resource mobilization and investment strategies and policies.
-
Assisting in the development of the University’s existing and new enterprises in line with its vision.
-
Participating in the development and review of business development and related policies, plans and strategies.
-
Participating in the development and implementation of a comprehensive resource mobilization and enterprise development strategy.
-
Participating in the development of business plans for existing and new commercial entities.
-
Participating in major resource mobilization campaigns.
-
Developing tools for identifying, cultivating and managing relationships.
-
Participating in negotiating with donors and other external partners for the development of multi-year programmatic initiatives.
-
Preparing investment management accounts and reports.
-
Conducting investment reconciliations.
-
Assessing and recommending the establishment of appropriate investment portfolios.
-
Conducting thorough due diligence on the most compelling prospective investment opportunities.
-
Leading in the development/maintenance of investment records for the University’s business units.
-
Monitoring and reviewing the performance of investment portfolios.
-
Establishing and maintaining partnerships with financial institutions, professional advisers and other relevant stakeholders on investment matters.
