Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain and Logistics or any relevant field.

MIPS Professional Qualification.
-
Must be a member of MIPS.
-
3 years’ work experience in a similar position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Participating in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of procurement activities.
-
Preparing procurement reports.
-
Processing procurement documents;
-
Managing the bidding process.
-
Managing the assets disposal process.
-
Determining product specifications and Terms of Reference in liaison with Heads of Departments.
-
Providing procurement-related advisory services to all line managers and users.
-
Maintaining procurement records.
-
Managing contract administration to ensure delivery of goods/services is in accordance with the contract terms and user requirements.
-
Researching market trends on key product prices, availability, and suppliers.
-
Drafting contract documents, orders, and similar documents in accordance with IPC instructions.
-
Attending to client’s queries.
-
Preparing and submitting relevant reports and records to PPDA.
-
Servicing the internal procurement committee.
