Assistant Revenue Accountant (UM9) (1 position)

Qualifications and Attributes

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in accounting or related fields.

  • 3 years’ relevant work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Filing all debtors’ correspondence.

  2. Capturing manual invoices into the accounting system.

  3. Managing debtors and updating debtors’ records.

  4. Preparing and submitting debtors' schedules.

  5. Preparing and submitting statements to debtors.

  6. Facilitating the timely recovery of debts.

  7. Assisting in preparing debtors' reconciliations.

  8. Assisting in reviewing vouchers for discrepancies.

  9. Providing regular and accurate cash flow projections.

  10. Monitoring credit limits and debt repayment.

  11. Participating in the preparation of audit schedules.

  12. Attending and responding to debtor enquiries.

  13. Assisting in handling audit queries.
