Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Testing and Measurement (Re-Advertised)

Applications are invited for interested and suitably qualified persons for the challenging and demanding academic position in the Education Foundations Department tenable at the University of Malawi. There is only one position of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor level in Testing and Measurement.

Applicants for Lecturer must have at least a Master of Education Degree in Testing and Measurement plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with CREDIT or DISTINCTION.

Applicants at senior lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor level should provide evidence of their publications in peer-reviewed journals (3 for Senior lecturer, 5 for Associate Professor and 8 for Professor)

The successful candidate will be expected to: teach Testing and Measurement courses and other related education foundation courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students; Supervise students on teaching practice, carry out research, consultancies and outreach activities; supervise students’ research work; offer in-service training; and carry out any duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department, School of Education and the university as a whole.
