Staff Associate/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Actuarial Science
Applicants must have a minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree (with Credit) majoring in Mathematics and Statistics or Bachelor of Social Science Degree (with Credit) majoring in Economics and minor in Mathematics or Statistics. Applicants for the positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer should hold a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate Degree in Actuarial Science or related field from recognized university obtained subsequent to a Bachelor’s degree with credit. Possession of publications or relevant experience will be an added advantage.
Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate mathematics courses.
Conducting research in the area of specialisation.
Supervising undergraduate student projects within the Department.
Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department.
Being part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the department.
Carrying out any duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
