The Department of Fine Art is dedicated to the understanding, development and transmission of knowledge in the areas that include painting, ceramics, art history and curating, studio ceramics, industrial ceramics, print making and art education photography.

The Department significantly contributes in the area of design, which is also a fundamental component in the sister Department of Fashion and design. It is mainly relevant in the areas of fashion, product and furniture, jewelry design, ceramics design, interior and exterior design, animation, illustration, graphics design and textile. The Department also plays an important role in leading the nation in the industrial ceramics.

The Department has the following programmes: Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Master of Arts in Fine Art.
