Physics and Electronics are fundamental to many scientific and technical disciplines. The Department of Physics and Electronics has a two-fold mission: to provide students with an outstanding learning experience in which they develop strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a deep appreciation of the role Physics and Electronics play in technical innovations, and to foster cutting-edge research that improves the wellbeing of all Malawians. The department offers two programmes namely BSc in Physics and BSc in Electronics.
