STATION ENGINEER

To ensure maintenance and sound performance of radio/television equipment

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assessing equipment and accessories needs

2. Repairing technical equipment for the station

3. Responding to transmission queries

4. Developing and supervising the technical or engineering personnel

5. Training employees on how to use equipment

6. Ensuring that the radio/television is on air with good quality sound at all scheduled times

7. Ensuring that radio/television station signal output meets the quality requirements

8. Responding to transmission queries

9. Ensuring that all radio/television machines are functioning according to the best standard

Education Qualification and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering or related fields

2. 3 years working experience in a busy broadcast media house
